ok,im a graphic student and im in my 2nd year and study in some university.my blog may not as fancy as my others blog does,since i studying graphic some might think i should used my skills but who cares anyway?.regarding of the course that i take,i think some people might not really crystal clear of what are we learning.GRAPHIC DESIGN?what is that?
ok,its simple.graphic design is a form of art that applied in many thing's in life,a lot,web design,packaging,advertising,photography,illustration(my fav),Tshirt,i cant name them all.i wont explain much about it mainly because its very general.its everywhere including this blog(hey i design the header pic ok,by follow some tutorial on some web).i wont explain much about it mainly because its very general.(its really is)*do some research ya'll*
we're asian and malaysian and we tend to look down on art,thats how our society think.they dont believe involving in art is providing you a better income or a better career.in my place,when u taking or involved in something like education(becoming a teacher),medical or any other common government job that we've heard which is GOOD,thats when compliment are flying over ur head.my dad used to ask me to enroll in some private university taking medical course,i was like im not interested.its not that i hate it,i just dont like it.its not just about receiving the money every month,its passion,if i dont have passion in what im doing,i'll fail,i will not be happy and money is just a money.im tired of pushing myself n please the other people all the time.im getting annoyed when somebody ask me about the course that i take,they sort of giving me this annoyed look,i know they look down on me,no standard or whatso ever.the first thing they ask is,'where you're gonna work or find a job after graduate?u waste ur money studying that'.i was like 'what the hood?'.where do u think im gonna work?they obviously not educated much about art for sure.we designing,we make this world looks pretty and colorful.get that!!!*thats why i live n praise western culture because they appreciated art more than we asian do*
i've been interested in art since i was a kids *yeah sounds corny i know*.i cant imagine myself working in some field that i dont have heart on.maybe i have to if i have no choice to survived but to have a career that u like is awesome.loving the job and all.when u hate ur job,the first thing that pop out in ur mind when u wake up in the morning was "uuuhh jesus,i hate my job,i dont wanna go to work today,i wanna quit".and of course everyone wishes to not had that feeling but sometimes we do.
i used to not build up my own decision,wasnt confident,shy.but the more i grew up,the more i realize im just going to waste every minutes of my life live base on others thoughts.
